Meet Our Kindergarten Teachers:

Mrs. Martin

Hello!  Let me introduce myself.  My name is Victoria Martin and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Troy Hills School.  I have been teaching for the past thirty-two years and I have been at Troy Hills School for the past twenty-nine years.  My first teaching job was as a preschool teacher and then, as a second grade teacher, third grade teacher and a first grade teacher for twenty-six years. This year I am thrilled to say that I am now a kindergarten teacher!

I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Kutztown University and my Master’s Degree from Centenary College.  I am now a clinical faculty member at Montclair State University.  I enjoy being a mentor to new teachers and I absolutely love being a “Target Teach” teacher for seniors from Parsippany High School.  It is amazing to work with my former first graders who are now seniors interested in becoming teachers. When I am not at school, I spend my time with my husband and visit our two sons who live out of state. I love photography, scrapbooking, painting and of course, those of you who know me, know I love...Winnie-the-Pooh!

Mrs. Moore

Hi, I am a Kindergarten teacher here at Troy Hills Elementary School. I am a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I started my teaching career at Troy Hills School over two decades ago and I’m proud to still be teaching here today! I have taught many grade levels at Troy Hills and feel that my experience at multiple grade levels has made me a diverse and well-versed teacher. I have had the pleasure of teaching 1st through 4th grade. My goal is to help each and every student reach their full potential and to promote a love of learning in my classroom. Away from the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
