School-based occupational therapy helps students access their education and succeed in the classroom through direct interventions and staff consultation. Some of the areas we address include fine motor skills, environmental modifications, executive functioning, visual-motor/perceptual skills, and self-regulation.
Hello, my name is Melanie Jablonka. I attended Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA, where I received a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, and a minor in psychology. I love my profession and enjoy coming to work each day to help your child succeed at school. I am currently enrolled in a post-professional occupational therapy doctoral program as continuing to grow my skills as an OT practitioner is extremely important to me. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, being active, and traveling. I am excited for another great year in occupational therapy!
